I am trained as a multidisciplinary scientist and hold advanced degrees in statistics, the life sciences, and the social sciences. As a professional scientist, I have worked in academia, in the federal government, in private industry, and as a professional consultant. My research consistently involves working with multidisciplinary research teams to bring analytical expertise to novel and interesting research questions. I apply my quantitative work broadly in research related to both human and animal medicine. I have particular expertise in quantitative ecology, applied biostatistics, medical and veterinary entomology, disease ecology, and the ecology and epidemiology of parasites and vector-borne diseases. My work is embedded in the One Health perspective.
